Culture Showcase

Culture showcase(former Dances of the World) is a cultural event representing art forms around the world. We welcome all Gates families to participate and enjoy the various events, dances, skits, poems, and songs in the Gates cafeteria on Friday, Feb, 8th. The time duration for each program is 5-7 minutes and is subject to approval by the planning committee. There is a rehearsal a week before the actual program. You are also welcome to put up a booth to showcase information about your culture. There is a $5 per person or $10 per family entry fee. This is not a drop-off event, all children must be supervised.

PTO is looking for volunteers to run this event! Please contact us as soon as possible if you are willing to help.
Library Request

Are you cleaning out toys to make room at home? The library is looking for building toys to use for STEM lessons and centers! If you are letting go of LEGO, Keva planks, or magnetic building toys such as Tegu or Magformers that are in good condition, please consider donating these to the library. We will give them a good home.

Before sending anything in to school, please contact librarian Sheila Magovern
