New From the Family Learning Series: Walking to Listen

Community members, caregivers, and high school students are invited to attend the upcoming family learning series: Walking to Listen: A talk on the power of listening on March 7th, 2018 from 7:00-8:00 pm at the RJ Grey Junior High School auditorium sponsored by AB United Way.

Renowned speaker, peace activist, and author of the book Walking to Listen, Andrew Forsthoefel will discuss the healing power of listening and its critical applications in the work of building resilience among young people.

Keeping Children Safe and Secure Online

The Conant PTO would like to invite the Gates community to attend a presentation on Keeping Children Safe and Secure Online by the Project Safe Childhood Team, District Attorney's Office, on Tuesday, March 6th, in the Conant Cafeteria at 7:00 pm.

The presentation is aimed at all age ranges. Due to be sensitive nature of this talk, there is a strict no children policy and there will not be any babysitting services. However, High School aged children can attend with their parents.

Please note, this is NOT a fundraiser for the Conant PTO, the presentation is free. The Safe Childhood Team has asked to open the meeting to all families in Acton. The hope is to reach as many Acton families as possible with the important content of this talk.
