Its CORI Renewal Time

The AB School District requires criminal background checks on all volunteers, including chaperones for field trips, nature walk leaders, classroom helpers, activity day volunteers, etc. If you plan to volunteer for the 2017-2018 school year, you must complete a new CORI (if you didn't already renew last spring). Please come in person to the Gates office and fill out a new form. Please bring a photo ID (license or passport) to be copied and attached to your application. If you have kids at more than one school, you only need to fill out one CORI for the whole district.

Gates Spirit Wear

Help foster a sense of community and pride at Gates School by wearing our branded apparel. Simply go to the Paul P. Gates School Store powered by Squadlocker and add the items you want to purchase to your cart. 10% of the cost of the item will be donated to Gates School.

Hello From the Health Office

We hope everyone had a wonderful Summer break. A few quick reminders for the start of school.

  • If your child has a medical concern that requires medication at school (for example, epi pen, inhaler or other medications) remember that medication orders from the doctor need to be rewritten every school year. If you haven't gotten a new med order, please contact your doctor ASAP. Orders may be dropped off, emailed or faxed to us. Gates fax is 978-266-2573.

  • Children can not transport medication per district policy for safety reasons. Any medication should be brought to school by an adult.

  • Please update the Health Office about any new health conditions so we may have all the information needed to keep your children safe at school.

As always, feel free to contact with any questions or concerns. We look forward to seeing all the children back at school!

Best wishes,
Diane and Tory
