Ministry Highlight: Our Presbytery Commissioners
Each year, our Session appoints from the congregation three ordained ruling elders to serve as presbytery commissioners, and elders currently on Session take turns as the fourth commissioner. Annual Congregational Meeting
January 28 | 9:30am-10:30am (Fellowship Hall)
This Sunday at 9:30am, we'll be holding our Annual Congregational Meeting in Fellowship Hall. During this meeting, we'll provide church updates and answer questions. The proposed budget for 2024 will be presented and voted on. Light breakfast will be served. This meeting requires a quorum of the congregation. We hope you can join us!

Ash Wednesday Taizé-Style
Prayer Service
February 14 | 7-8:00pm (Sanctuary)
Join us for a service of meditative music and prayer in observance of Ash Wednesday. This service will be held in the sanctuary and livestreamed. The sanctuary will open at 6:30pm for silent prayer and meditation.

Lenten Bible Study: Jesus in the Crosshairs

Wednesday Mornings, February 14-March 27 | 9:30am (McCollum Room)
Dr. William Summerhill will lead interested adults in an intellectual and spiritual exploration of how and why Jesus put himself in the crosshairs of those wanting to kill him. We will also consider the profound implications that his crucifixion has had on our theology and on the spirit and ethic of grace that Jesus’ death has inspired among his followers. Read more HERE.

Lenten Book Study: Grounded Faith: Reconnecting with Creator and Creation in the Season of Lent

Montview’s Earth Care Team invites you to expand your understanding and practice of Lent through the study of A Grounded Faith: Reconnecting with Creator and Creation in the Season of Lent. Through daily readings and invitation for spiritual practice, we will explore Lenten themes as they relate to our relationship with Earth. Sessions will be facilitated by Erika Walker. The Sacred Art of Black Preaching

We will learn about the unique black sermonic tradition of preaching through the instruction by local black preachers from the greater Denver metro area. The Black Sermonic Tradition is an approach to homily construction and delivery practiced primarily among African Americans in the black church. The tradition seeks to preach messages that appeal to both the intellect and emotive dimensions of humanity. Read more HERE.

Immigration Task Force Luncheon
