Following Christ In The World
Practical Exercises for the Christian Life
Thursday, June 6 at 7pm
Faithful discipleship is built on a solid foundation of meditation and prayer. Two of the primary forms of contemplative life that continue to nourish Christian discipleship are found in the work of St. Benedict of Nursia and St. Ignatius Loyola. Our Thursday evening offering is an opportunity to explore these two rich traditions of contemplative prayer and to find within each suggestions for deepening our relationship with Christ and living as faithful disciples in the world.
Participants are asked to secure a copy of Father John Bartunek's work,
The Better Part: A Christ-Centered Resource for Personal Prayer.
The book is available through Amazon.
Class begins Thursday, June 6 at 7pm in the Day Chapel and will continue on Thursdays through July 11.
