In last week's sermon, Pastor reminded us of the importance of living with clean hands and pure hearts. This means more than avoiding outward sin — it calls us to constantly check in with our hearts, to examine the things we say, the things we do, and the things we allow into our spirit.
Worship is not just what we do on Sunday — it’s a lifestyle. It’s reflected in hands that are unstained and a heart that is continually being purified before Him. When our altars are tended daily, in that we are living a surrendered life to Him, worship becomes authentic, powerful, and unshakable- even in the Valley. Ultimately, resulting in us, becoming Levites who are "Guardians of His Presence" ...protecting the altar from strange fire!!!
The Tabernacle teaches us this: there must always be a sacrifice on the altar. In worship, that sacrifice is often us — our pride, our selfishness, our comfort, the places where God is asking us to die daily so that Christ may live more fully in us. As we embrace this lifestyle, our worship is no longer performance but becomes a living testimony of His love, grace, and goodness.
Let’s be worshipers whose hands are clean, whose hearts are pure, and whose altars are continually burning before the Lord.
