YPN Serves Over 100 Meals at Annual Family Promise Dinner
   
Each year, EBCBOR partners with Bergen Family Promise Dinner and participate in the Walk-In Dinner program as a way to stay connected and give back to the community. Family Promise has been committed to feeding the hungry since 1991.
Dorothy LeBostquet, Vice-Chair of YPN said, "I feel humbled and honored to be able to participate every year..."

Congress Extends NFIP Four Months, Calls For Reform
   
On Tuesday, Congress voted in favor of a bill that extends the 50-year-old National Flood Insurance Plan (NFIP) another four months; the seventh extension since September 2017. The plan was set to expire at midnight.

Home Price Growth Remains High but Steady at 6.4%
   
Annual home price growth was flat in May 2018, unchanged from the April's 6.4 percent, according to the latest S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller National Home Price NSA Index, announced Tuesday - one of the industry's most trusted metrics. Also, the month-over-month growth from April 2018 to May 2018 was only 0.4 percent, seasonally adjusted.

Chinese Buyers Still #1, According to NAR 2018 International Survey
 
Chinese buyers remained as the top foreign buyer of U.S. residential property, according to NAR's recently released 2018 Profile of International Activity in U.S. Residential Real Estate. [1],[2] Chinese buyers accounted for 15 percent of foreign buyer purchases during the period April 2017-March 2018, which is about the same as the share in the past period.
