Leadership Tompkins Collecting Food Donations for Mutual Aid Tompkins
Each year, the Leadership Tompkins program cohort identifies, develops, and executes a community service project as demonstration of its commitment to meaningful community impact.
The 2025 cohort is planning a food drive in support of Mutual Aid Tompkins' efforts to keep their blue box food pantries stocked this Spring. The cohort is collecting food items at several convenient drop-off locations through April 21st. Cohort members have collaborated to develop an informative webpage with all the details! Please consider supporting your neighbors through this drive.

Third Annual Daffodil Dash

The Ithaca Garden Club and Ithaca Children's Garden have opened registration for the Third Annual Daffodil Dash on April 26th at Cass Park. Registration and t-shirt are free for dashers 12 and under. Other registrations are $25, with optional t-shirt for $10. All proceeds go to the purchase and planting of MORE daffodils!

Girl Scouts Seeking Community Partners
Girl Scouts' extraordinary journey began in 1912 when our Movement was founded by Juliette Gordon “Daisy” Low. Today, we continue the Girl Scout mission of building girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. Community Partners offer badge programs, fun patches, volunteer opportunities, discounts and unique experiences. Through these experiences, Girl Scouts will try new things, explore the world around them and show the community what Girl Scouting is all about!

Built around the ten basic responsibilities of not-for-profit boards from Boardsource, this workshop will review the essential roles and functions of governing boards. It will provide hands-on resources and case studies to enhance your knowledge and strengthen your effectiveness as a board member. Presented by Human Services Coalition Executive Director Cindy Wilcox. In-person at the Tompkins County Public Library on Thursday May 15th, 2-4pm.
