Update on Pastor Dave and Family

Pastor Dave and family were exposed to the Covid-19 Delta variant while on vacation in Cincinnati. Upon returning, the entire family took a Covid test on Tuesday, and the results are in:
The Young’s are all NEGATIVE for Covid-19!
Worship Update

Just a reminder that masks are required for worship and any other indoor activity at Bethel for both vaccinated and unvaccinated people. Masks must be worn for the entire time that we are indoors. Exceptions are for members of the choir (while singing) and Readers/Prayer Readers while they are speaking.

Worship will be held in the Discipleship Hall where we can get better ventilation.

Worship will be more limited but will still include songs and Holy Communion. This will be our standard worship for the foreseeable future, until our county and our nation has a better grasp on the Covid-19 Delta variant.

Throughout this pandemic, we have done the "next right thing." At this point, the next right thing is to take a step back so as best to control the environment for worship and any other activities we offer at Bethel. We pray that this will not be an extended period, but as we have been doing all along, we will faithfully follow CDC guidelines for our county, state, and nation.

Please pray for those who are currently suffering with the new variant of Covid-19 and please encourage everyone you know to get vaccinated!
Join us Wednesday evenings, for WOW (Worship on Wednesday), a 30 minute, camp-style worship with Holy Communion. We will gather at 6:00pm at the Bethel Picnic Shelter (or Discipleship Hall if inclement weather). Bring a lawn chair and invite friends.

This is perfect for a midweek "recharge", or for those not ready for "indoor" worship yet, or if you will be out of town on the weekend and can't join us then. Hope to see you soon!

Please consider contributing to this worthy cause by donating these items during one of the next five Sundays.

UNTIL THERE'S A CURE, THERE'S CARE!
As the last days of summer wind down, join your fellow Bethel members in supporting CCAP in their newest fundraiser- the CCAP Bike Tour 2021. FCPRD, CCAP, and the Winchester Wheelman are excited to host a bicycle ride on Saturday, August 28th, through the countryside of the Northern Shenandoah Valley to support the ongoing ministry of CCAP.
The scenic ride starts and finishes on the campus of Valley Health at the Wellness Center. Bethel will be manning a table at Richards Farm Market in Middletown, in which we will be passing out cups of watermelon to 200 bicyclists as they roll through. This is a rain or shine event.
Go to the Sign Up Genius if you can volunteer and bring cups of watermelon. Call/text/or email Beth Garner with any questions (540.514.7022 or bethgarnercm@hotmail.com)

Please review the available slots below and click on the button to sign up. Thank you!
