Our mission: to be a sign of Christ’s love for the world.
GATHER!
Here are the ways we worship together.

How wonderful to worship together in our sanctuary!
Let us be mindful to the needs of those around us.

Out of love & safety for our youngest & most vulnerable, and due to the rise in Covid-19 cases,
ALL worshipers are to wear masks while in the sanctuary.

As Matthew 7:12 says, "Treat others as you would want to be treated."
Thank you for living in Christian love with one another!

Worship Schedule
10am in the Sanctuary or on Facebook Live.

This week’s scripture lesson is :
Psalm 95:1-7
Revelation 4:9-11

GIVE!
Love your neighbor through gifts of time, talents, and financial gifts.
Dilworth Church You Rock!
Because of your quick response we were able to help an Afghan Refugee family move into a newly furnished and stocked home. You provided all the furniture & supplies for two bedrooms (except the bunk beds), a high chair, bathroom cabinet, blinds and money for various items including a huge donation toward a new HVAC system. The parents and 4 children now have a safe and comfortable home in which to lay their heads and start life anew. Some remaining needs for the family include new or GENTLY used children clothing (suggested Target gift card for new clothing since it is an easy bus ride), smart TV, 2 car booster seats The children’s sizes are Sana -girl- shirt/pant/jacket 7\8 & shoes 13 LK; Sama - girl- shirt/pants 6/6x, jacket 7, shoes 13LK; Hikmatullah -boy - shirt/pants/jacket 4\5 and shoes 10/10.5 Toddler; Naimatullah-boy - 18mth-2T, shoes 5.5/6walker & size 3 diapers. Drop them off at the church and we will get them to the family. There may be days ahead for help with transportation and navigating their new life. If you are interested in this please reach out to Pastor Cade or Pastor Michelle. The oldest daughter will be 10 years old in just a few weeks -- 11/04 and what a new kind of birthday she will celebrate! This is Dilworth being a sign of Christ’s love in the world. Well done!
Remember Your Church WITH YOUR FINANCIAL OFFERINGS
Summer time was fun and ministry was in full swing for the church. Financial giving, however, suffered as many of you vacationed. We need your support. Your financial gifts are essential to the ministry and campus of Dilworth Church. Visit our website to make your contributions online or you can drop off your contributions and use other means of giving. Also, worship with us live on Facebook at 10 am even when out of town. Thank you for sustaining the ministries of Dilworth Church through your gifts.
Alter Flower Sign-Ups
We have heard that there is some confusion surrounding the alter flower sign-ups. There are a few ways that you can sign up to provide the alter flowers. If you are at the church, you can come by Madison Rubottom's office and use the sign-up sheet posted on her door. If you would prefer to sign-up online, here is the link to our alter flower sign-up genius. As our new Office and Communications Manager, Madison will do her best to make sure the physical sign up and the digital sign up are correct and match one another. If you have any questions you can email madison.rubottom@dilworthchurch.org or drop by her office!
