All are welcome to join the Open Door Sunday School Class for their study of The Journey by Adam Hamilton during this Advent and Christmas season. This study will meet at 11am beginning on Sunday, November 28. Please reach out to Pastor Cade with any questions about this opportunity.

Our annual Charge Conference will be held via zoom on Sunday, November 14th at 4:00pm with District Superintendent, Dan Pezet, and several other local UMCs. All church members are invited to join in. Please let Madison know by clicking here and she will send you the link a few days before the event.

The Dilworth Players Present "A Grand Night For Singing"

You are invited to meet the Yaqobi family (the Afghani family we have been supporting) and extend Christian love and hospitality as they get settled in Charlotte. Dilworth Men are invited to an evening of fellowship at Queen Park Social Wednesday, Nov. 10 at 7pm. Come get to know other guys at Dilworth and enjoy a night of fun and games. Please reach out to Pastor Cade for more information about this opportunity.

Sign up to help Dilworth this winter as we partner with Roof Above to host folks experiencing homelessness through Room in the Inn. Volunteers are needed to help our church show hospitality to those in our community who need it the most. To be a part of this ministry opportunity, search for a weekend (or two!) that you are available and sign up for the role listed that you would like to help in. Please reach out to Pastor Cade with any questions about this outreach opportunity.

Big news! The children’s ministry is doing an Angel Tree for the Salvation Army this year! We have the opportunity to provide Christmas joy for 15 families. Come select an angel from the tree next Sunday (11/14) in the 605 room. Gifts are due Nov. 28th.

There are a few ways that you can sign up to provide the altar flowers. If you are at the church, you can come by Madison Rubottom's office and use the sign-up sheet posted on her door. Join Dilworth members and friends on our next Amplify team field trip to the Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts and Culture on Sunday, November 21st at 3pm. After our tour of the museum, we will meet back at Dilworth UMC for a discussion over a catered fellowship meal provided by Catering by Cordre. Please RSVP to Pastor Cade ([email protected]) to be a part of this trip.
