Christmas Eve at Dilworth UMC

Family Service - Jesus was not born on a silent night...and this won’t be either! Come enjoy a Christmas story, an impromptu live nativity, and your favorite Christmas hymns. Children and families of all ages are welcome!

7:00pm
Traditional Candlelight and Communion Service - Welcome the spirit of Christmas with this beautiful candlelight service full of the awe and wonder of the coming Christ.
Music at Dilworth

Church Wide Christmas Covered Dish
The Christmas Covered Dish is this Sunday! We are so excited to see everyone and to get to spend this special time of year with the people we care about most! Dinner will be served at 5:30, but there will be a chance to participate in an outreach ministry beginning at 4:30!

Also at 4:30, this is when food drop off will begin! Your covered dishes can go up to Langford Hall and be arranged on the serving tables!

Christmas Tree voting!
There’s still time to get your vote in for the best Christmas tree at Dilworth! Follow this link and vote before our Christmas covered dish on Sunday. Winners will receive $500 for the charity of their choice.

The winner will be announced at the Christmas Covered Dish!
Heart & Sole - Christmas Hike
Join up with the Ladies of the Heart & Sole Hiking group to drive together to McAdeville also known as “Christmas Town USA” to hike around the lights. Meet at 6:30pm on Tuesday, December 21 to catch the bus. Sign Up here for this hike and more!

Room in the Inn
Sign up to help Dilworth this winter as we partner with Roof Above to host folks experiencing homelessness through Room in the Inn. Volunteers are needed to help our church show hospitality to those in our community who need it the most. To be a part of this ministry opportunity, search for a weekend (or two!) that you are available and sign up for the role listed that you would like to help in. Please reach out to Pastor Cade with any questions about this outreach opportunity.
