Our mission: to be a sign of Christ’s love for the world.
Here are the ways we worship & join in fellowship together.

How wonderful to worship together in our sanctuary!
Let us be mindful of the needs of those around us.

At this time, masks are optional; however, let us be mindful of the needs of those around us.  May we respect and love one another whether wearing a mask or going without. In the Sanctuary if someone is wearing a mask, please leave some space if you are not wearing one.

As Matthew 7:12 says, "Treat others as you would want to be treated."
Thank you for living in Christian love with one another!

Worship Schedule
10am in the Sanctuary or on Facebook Live.

This week’s scripture lesson is:
Matthew 5:43-48

Take a moment to read through the important messages about the life of DUMC

Dear Beauty and the Beast cast, crew, family, supporters, and ticket holders,
It is with a heavy heart that we share that our production scheduled for this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (May 12, 13, and 14) unfortunately must be postponed due to an outbreak of COVID within the cast and crew over the last 48 hours. We believe the safety and health of everyone involved, including the audience, must come first and for that we have made this very difficult decision. The cast and crew have been working day and night for you to “be our guest” and we certainly hope you will come at a later date to be determined by leaders of the Dilworth Players and Dilworth United Methodist Church.

Congratulations to Molly, Jeff, and Declan Hall, who have welcomed a baby boy into their family! Baby Hall was born on May 12th, 2022.
Jimmie Patton Scholarship
Jimmie W. Patton and his wife Barbara C. Patton were long-time members of Dilworth UMC. In1991, Mr. Patton confirmed plans to create a scholarship fund through his estate. The following year, he made the initial donation, establishing the J.W. Patton Educational Fund to support post-high school studies for members of the Dilworth church family. The first scholarships were awarded in 1992. Mr. Patton continued to fund scholarships for members of Dilworth church until his death in 1995. Following the death of Mrs. Patton in 2016, Dilworth church received a gift from Mr. Patton’s estate to endow the fund so that it could continue its mission. The J.W. Patton Educational Fund makes gifts based on merit and need for post-high-school education for members of the church or their families. Dilworth Church members are invited to apply for this gift by May 20th. To receive the application, email sallieanna.broome@dilworthchurch.org
