Dear Fellow Servants of Jesus Christ,
We are sending another team to Belize this summer! Saxe Gotha has sent teams to Belize over the past several years to conduct vacation bible schools in local villages. These mission trips have always been met with great success. Team members have returned deeply moved not only by how the Lord worked through the team to serve others, but also by the vibrant faith of the Belizean Christians.
A Belize Team information meeting will be held on Sunday, February 23 at 5:30 pm in the Church Library (Room 152). The trip is planned for July 27 to August 3.
The trip is a great way for you to grow spiritually as you serve others in a cross-cultural setting. Even though the official language of Belize is English, many of the people the team will be serving will be speaking Spanish. This trip is also a marvelous opportunity for families to serve on the team together. Think about your family interacting with the children of Belize during VBS!
Please pray for the team as it prepares for this trip. Any time we send out teams to spread the Gospel, we engage in spiritual warfare. We need your prayers!
Please consider being part of this exciting adventure as we seek to share the good news of Jesus Christ to the children of Belize!
In Christ's love,

BLESS is an initiative to
Make and Deepen Disciples

These groups are open to any adult of any age, marital status, etc. Please join them to dig deeper into the new year's sermon series and learn how to BLESS people.

New Sermon Series - Beginning February 16:
How healthy is our church?
What would Jesus say to Christians in America?
During the season of Lent, we will be studying the letters written to the seven churches in the Book of Revelation. These ancient churches existed in what is now known as modern Turkey. Jesus affirms the things they did well while condemning those things that demonstrated their compromise with the world. These letters serve as encouragement in our faithfulness to Christ as well as a warning in our unfaithfulness. While many people are reluctant to read the Book of Revelation, it promises to bless those who hear its message and take it to heart (Revelation 1:3).
Please don't miss out on this blessing!
Drive Thru Prayer:
(February 18, 3rd Tuesday of the month) 7
:15-8:15 am, SGPC
Join together as we love and support community members in need of prayer. We will need prayer warriors, enthusiastic sign holders and traffic directors. In January, 27 degrees didn't stop 10 church members from doing God's work in serving 9 cars that stopped for prayer. One lady said, "This must be for real if y'all are out here in this kind of weather."

Saxe Gotha's Text Giving #: 803-302-3499
- If you text a monetary value, the funds are attributed to the church's default fund.
- If you text a monetary value + a fund name, the funds will be attributed to that fund name.
- You can also text the following: "Funds" (will give you a list of fund names), "Help" (to get assistance with gifting via text), or "Reset" (will remove saved credit card information).
Your tithes and gifts are vitally important to the ministry of our church! We ask that you prayerfully consider how God is leading you to give. "Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it."
