Our St. Margaret's Parish Food Drive is Next Weekend 

July 11th and 12th.

Your generosity, in any way, is greatly appreciated!

Last month, we collected and donated an incredible

505 lbs. of food to Catholic Charities!

Let's rally together and make this month even BIGGER and BETTER.

Every donation counts, let's beat our record and make an even greater impact!

Bring your donations to Mass with you on Saturday and Sunday. Items will be picked up on Sunday after the 10:00 AM Mass and delivered on Monday.

Garden Bed Update

As we get nearer to sealing our parking lots, professional work will be done this week on the parking lot islands. We will be replacing the existing mulch beds with decorative Missouri River rock. When the weather permits, we will be doing some fresh landscape in those spaces, too.

Adoration

We are blessed to offer Eucharistic Adoration at St. Margaret’s every Wednesday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM—a sacred time to step away and be with Our Lord.

All are welcome, but we especially need committed adorers.

Please consider signing up for a consistent weekly hour to ensure continuous coverage. Our goal is at least four adorers each hour, so that Jesus is never left alone.

Even one faithful hour each week makes a lasting difference for you and our parish.

Volunteers Needed for Summer Meal Deliveries

During the summer months, Holy Spirit is sometimes short-staffed and is seeking additional Virtus-certified volunteers to serve as drivers or assistant drivers for our meal delivery ministry.

This is a wonderful opportunity to serve those in need in a direct and meaningful way. We also maintain a list of substitute drivers for those who would like to be contacted when help is needed. Volunteers are always free to accept or decline based on their availability.

This year, our delivery routes serve five locations:

• Two sites in the Lee’s Summit/Greenwood area (served by the same delivery team)
• Three sites in the Raymore-Peculiar area, where several elementary schools have more than 40% of students participating in free and reduced-price lunch programs

Golden Wedding Anniversary Mass

The Golden Wedding Anniversary will be held on Sunday, September 13 for couples whose 50^th Wedding Anniversary falls between January 1, 2026 and December 31, 2026. This event is open to couples and their immediate family.

The celebration will begin with Mass at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Kansas City at 11:00 AM followed by a reception in the new event space – Donnelly Hall.

Please complete the information by August 26, 2026.

If a couple is unable to attend, but would like to be honored, please indicate this so that their gift and card can be mailed to them.
