Coffee and Juice Service - This Sunday

Stick around after this Sunday’s Masses (April 26th) for coffee, juice, and an opportunity to support our parish teens.

Donations will help send five St. Margaret students to the Steubenville Youth Conference this summer.

Every sip supports their growth in faith!

Adoration

We are truly blessed to have the opportunity for Eucharistic Adoration at St. Margaret’s every Wednesday, a sacred time to step away from the busyness of life and spend quiet, prayerful time with Our Lord.

Each Wednesday, the church is open for Adoration from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and everyone is warmly invited to participate. Even one hour in His presence can bring peace, clarity, and grace to your week.

If you are able to commit to an hour, we kindly ask you to sign up using the link below. Our goal is to have at least four adorers each hour, ensuring that Jesus is never left alone.

Signing up for the same hour each week is especially helpful and allows us to provide consistent coverage throughout the day.

Your commitment, whether weekly or occasional, makes a meaningful difference for our parish community.

To learn more about Eucharistic Adoration and to reserve an hour, please use the link below.

Statement on Pro-Life Amendment

Statement of the Missouri Catholic Conference on

Pro-life Amendment 3 We, the Catholic Bishops of Missouri, are committed to protecting the sanctity and dignity of all human life, including the poor and needy, refugees and immigrants, prisoners on death row, and mothers and children.

In Missouri, this dignity is being threatened by the pro-abortion amendment passed in 2024. That amendment enshrined a sweeping right to abortion in the State Constitution and eliminated the legislature’s ability to set common-sense safeguards for the abortion industry, including the requirement that only doctors perform abortions, the requirement that parents be notified and give consent before their minor child has an abortion, and the requirement that abortion clinics be licensed and inspected.

This year, Missourians will have the opportunity to restore those safeguards by voting for Amendment 3. The proposed constitutional amendment will protect women’s health and safety and restore protections for the unborn.

We ask the faithful and all people of good will to join us in prayer and fasting for the success of Amendment 3 and to support each human person from conception to natural death.

Holy Spirit Summer Lunch Program

Summer is approaching, and for many children in our community—over 25% in the southwest LS area, Raymore, and Peculiar—it means the end of reliable school meals and the start of summer hunger. The Summer Lunch Program provides vital nourishment, but our need for support has never been greater. Please answer the call: soaring food costs means every dollar makes a difference, and every volunteer hour ensures a child receives a meal.

We could also use donation supplies. When you are at the grocery store, please pick up some sandwich, snack, or gallon size Ziploc or re-closable bags, boxes of individual chips, boxes of individual cookies, and/or  Kool-Aid Jammers. These can be dropped off in the parish office. Thank you for your support!

With deep sorrow and Christian hope, we mourn the recent passing of Norman Parker, a Pioneer Member of St. Margaret of Scotland. Norman was called home to the Lord after a life marked by faith, devotion to family, and quiet strength. A faithful Catholic, he found comfort in prayer and trusted in God’s promise of everlasting life.

He now rests in the loving arms of our Heavenly Father.

Keep his wife, Elvira Darner, and her sister and brother-in-law, Sylvia and Larry Boyd, in your prayers as they walk together through this time of sorrow, taking comfort in the hope of the Resurrection.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen.
