Join the Rockwall Senior Services Alliance as we host our inaugural luncheon on September 8th at the Ebby Halliday Rockwall-Heath office. Gather with others in the senior care and senior focused industries as we build a community and hear a great presentation.

If you're like most businesses, not a week goes by that you don't hear a criticism or complaint from someone either on your team or a customer. How you handle those encounters can make or break your interpersonal relationships with these people.

For the group in September, we have Past Chair for the Rockwall Area Chamber of Commerce Katy Miller along with Amanda Evans who will present on how to handle criticism in the workplace, both from inside your organization as well as customers.

This informative presentation will leave you with actionable ways you can improve or grow how you handle criticism at work.

Tickets for this luncheon are $20 Rockwall Senior Service Alliance Members and $35 for prospective members.

Presenting Sponsorship is available at $300 and includes two tickets and an opportunity to speak. Contact [email protected] if interested.

Since 2017, the Rockwall Job Fair has brought together over 400 job seekers and an average of 18 employers each year to fill hundreds of open positions in Rockwall. While this event has traditionally been hosted in-person, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 event went virtual. In 2021, we are moving back to our traditional in-person format.

Job seekers can expect to meet with multiple HR representatives from a host of companies located throughout Rockwall County, with a variety of jobs to fill. Jobs are available in a multitude of fields including but not limited to: manufacturing, production, metal fabrication, office/administration, education, healthcare, and more. While there are positions available in many fields, and at all levels of experience, this job fair focuses heavily on skilled and unskilled laborers for manufacturing, production, and logistics companies.
