Two Weeks Left to Sign Up for the November "Inspire" Box

Have you subscribed yet for the November Inspire box? The November box's theme is Questioning Strategies.

Inspire is a professional learning subscription box that comes with strategies, activities to implement in the classroom, and gifts for teachers to use both in and out of the classroom!

"I have been inspired to begin class by using the question cards. Teaching remotely this quarter has been a challenge to get kids talking, so now each day as students are entering my class, I use one of the questions on the ring to start a conversation. The simple act of asking an engaging personal question has increased my ability to make a connection and to build a relationship with my students," reflects Jen Lancaster, an educator from District 129, on her first box.

Jimmy Pawola, a US History teacher, says “I enjoyed the 'My S.T.O.R.Y' exercise and the question cards. Both activities lead to meaningful discussion in my class.”

“What a simple, yet meaningful way to encourage your students all year long!" says Jessica Mina, an elementary educator reflecting on the thumbs up cards. "I've been teaching for close to twenty years and just recently discovered how a small note or word of encouragement to a child can completely brighten their day. I have added these "thumbs up" cards to the notes I have used previously and can physically feel a difference in the room."
