Anaheim Packing District Hosting “Sun Salutations & Sounds" | |

For the third year, the historic Anaheim Packing District will host “Sun Salutations & Sounds. This year, guests can look forward to a more filling community connection as the experience will conclude with a Pranayama Picnic. The grassy green at Farmers Park will be transformed into an outdoor yoga Shala on Saturday, April 27, from 10am until 12:30pm. "It is in the collective energy of a yoga community that we find solace, encouragement, and the power to uplift one another. Yoga connects people by transcending boundaries, fostering empathy, and creating a space for authentic connections to flourish.," says Kumi Yogini, the event’s yoga instructor and Founder of Veda Yoga.
The yoga vinyasa session will begin at 10:30am, led by Kumi Yogini, accompanied by the healing beats of DJ Crisanto and a transcendental sound bath from Kasie Swisher. Yogis will celebrate the end of their serene session with a community picnic featuring handcrafted sandwiches from The Iron Press.
Pre-Registration is only $20, which includes yoga, sounds and food.
Farmers Park is located at 412 S. Anaheim Blvd, Anaheim, CA within the historic Anaheim Packing District.

This year’s Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Anaheim-Cypress’ Annual Gala & Auction “Moving Forward” was magical in every way, as 300 loyal supporters gathered at the stunning new OCV!BE ARTIC in Anaheim. The event raised an impressive $265,000, and honored The Anaheim Ducks for their many years of support for the Clubs’ free and low-cost summer and after-school program activities for children and teens in Anaheim, Cypress, and surrounding areas. Aaron Teats, Club President of The Anaheim Ducks Hockey Club, was present at the Gala to accept the Award. This event also honored five Outstanding Youth Achievement Honorees including Club Members Gabriel C., Joseph S., Jamison R., Anthony H., and Michelle M. for their inspiring achievements. | |
