Anaheim Chamber Annual Golf Tournament - Monday, September 9

Not just a golf tournament, the Anaheim Chamber Golf Tournament connects our local businesses together, fostering economic prosperity in Anaheim. Join in on the fun-filled day, including breakfast by Keno’s Restaurant, and on-course snacks provided by Hickory & Spice, Island’s Anaheim Hills, Jersey Mike’s of Anaheim, and Navarro’s Tacos. And that is just the beginning of the day! 

After the tournament, we have a great outdoor mixer planned with a DJ, Awards, Silent and Live Auction items, and more delicious culinary treats provided by the Clubhouse at Anaheim Hills Golf Course. Invite your friends, spouses and partners to meet at the mixer at no extra cost!

California Toll Operators Launch New FasTrak Website

The California Toll Operators Committee (CTOC), a collaborative organization comprised of the state’s toll facility operators which includes the Transportation Corridor Agencies (TCA), unveiled a redesigned website FasTrak.org to better serve the six million FasTrak accountholders as well as the millions of toll facilities’ customers throughout the state.

Californians Will Vote on a $18 Minimum Wage. Workers Already Want $25 and More

Business groups are turning their sights toward Prop. 32. Three major employers’ groups with deep pockets — the Chamber of Commerce, the California Grocers Association and the California Restaurant Association — are leading the opposition. Chamber CEO Jennifer Barrera said employers will also focus on a simple message: the threat of price hikes. “There is a heightened sensitivity to the impact of increasing these labor costs on businesses and what that ultimately does for the cost of living,” she said. “Our belief is that the cost of living is directly impacted when you raise these costs on businesses. There’s only so many places where they can make adjustments.”
