Simply Food, family-run manufacturing, and premium food products business donated more than 200,000 cloth masks and many thousands of PPE items to the nonprofit Operate USA, which distributed them among under-served communities and non-profits. In addition, they donate thousands of covid related items.

Calling all OC Microbusinesses, The Smallest of the Small
$2500 Grant Opportunity
|
Community business members, until March 15, 2022, eligible microbusiness owners can apply for Orange County Microbusiness Grants. A one-time $2,500 grant will be provided to 1,470 Orange County micro-businesses that have been affected the hardest due to COVID-19. Small businesses owners, including women, veterans, minorities, individuals without documentation, and individuals with limited English proficiency, are encouraged to apply.
Grant must be spent on eligible expenses by June 1, 2022.

The Anaheim Chamber opposes AB 1001, a Housing Killer bill that would have an effect on new construction. Rather than reform barriers to housing, the bill expands the already burdensome California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and exposes developers to more CEQA litigation. |
