Anaheim Community Foundations New Grant Opportunity |

The Anaheim Community Foundation is conducting a one-time grant process to select a nonprofit organization(s) to receive funding to support the Anaheim homeless population. Grant proposals can be submitted for projects that have a long-term impact, including capital projects, capacity building, vehicles, shelter, mental health services, and case management. Grant proposals will not be considered to support basic needs such as food distribution or hygiene supplies. |

Tax Credit Program for CA Businesses |

Starting this week, California businesses of any size or industry can apply to receive an income tax credit through the California Competes Tax Credit program. This year, the Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development has up to $180 million in tax credits available to award businesses that want to locate in California or stay and grow in the state.

With the conclusion of the second quarter of 2023, the National Federation of Independent Businesses Small Business Optimism Index, Wall Street Journal/Vintage Small Business CEO Confidence Index, and the MetLife & US Chamber of Commerce Small Business Index have been released. The three indices found that small business owners expect higher revenues in the coming year, but inflation remains the highest concern, and small businesses continue to have trouble filling job openings. |
