Lucy Dunn Announces Retirement |
|
Orange County Business Council announced this week that Lucy Dunn, President, and CEO, intends to retire effective December 31, 2021, after 16 years at the helm of the organization.
During her tenure, Dunn has become one of the region’s most influential voices and trusted advocates for the business community. She has built consensus among leaders in government and academia to help secure billions of dollars for infrastructure improvements, facilitate the completion of key water and transportation projects, advance workforce and affordable housing initiatives, narrow gaps in skills and education among the local workforce, and position Orange County as a world leader and coveted destination for innovative companies.

Anaheim Turns to Electric Buses |
|
|
|
City of Anaheim and Anaheim Transportation Network will use a $2 million federal grant to buy five Arrival 40-foot, electric models, to replace units in its fleet powered by liquefied natural gas. The new electric buses will be utilized for transit services to and from Disneyland. |

Beyond Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience |

The first event to open to the public at the Anaheim Convention Center is a one-of-a-kind and imaginative experience, Beyond Van Gogh uses cutting-edge projection technology to create an engaging journey into the world of Van Gogh. The experience features more than 300 of Van Gogh’s works including “The Starry Night,” “Sunflowers” and “Café Terrace at Night.” No matter what you know about Van Gogh’s work or about art; this exhibit is for everyone to see and feel.
The exhibit runs through the first week in September.
