Anaheim Chamber Luncheon at Angel Stadium

More than 200 attended the Anaheim Chamber’s Luncheon at Angel Stadium last Friday, including the Mayor, Council Members, the City Manager, Fire Chief Pat Russell, Senator Josh Newman, OC Board of Supervisor Chairman Don Wagner, and our real celebrities of the day, the families and youth from Higher Ground. We were also fortunate to have Angels General Manager Perry Minasian join us for some lively insight and Q&A. Special thanks to Visit Anaheim for supporting as the primary title sponsor, and to our several table sponsors. Your partnerships are important to us as we continue our mission of building a strong local economy, promoting and branding the Anaheim community and creating networking through business development opportunities.

 Anaheim Union High School Districts Workability I Program

Calling all employers! The Anaheim Union High School Districts Workability I Program is looking to partner with members of the Chamber of Commerce. Crunch Time on California Ballot Measures

It’s make-or-break month for which ballot measures will actually go before California voters in November. The Legislature has until June 27 to make deals with proponents to pull initiatives off the Nov. 5 ballot. One measure that is the subject of intense negotiations is a business-backed push to repeal the California law allowing workers to sue their bosses, using private lawyers on the state’s behalf.
