Orange County Enters Red Tier - Businesses Can Reopen
OC has moved into the red tier and reopened multiple sectors of the economy. Under the new tier, large portions of OC can reopen including:

·     Amusement Parks – 15% capacity, CA residents only
·     Gym/Fitness Centers – 10% capacity
·     Movie Theatres – 25% capacity
·     Breweries – outdoors only
·     Restaurants – 25% capacity indoors
·     Schools – fully reopen at the discretion of local school officials
·     Churches – 25% capacity indoors
·     Shopping Malls – 50% capacity indoors, closed common areas
Stay Safe, Stay Open
As we have emphasized, expanded testing is necessary to ensure swift movement through the State’s tiered system. California gives counties credits for increased Covid-19 testing, which helps accelerate counties through tiers, which reduces restrictions. If 10K additional people countywide were tested daily, Orange County would be in the Yellow Tier by late April, which would mean:

  • Disneyland could open at 35% capacity instead of 15%.

  • Angel Stadium would be open to 67% capacity.

  • Restaurants, Bars, Breweries, and Weddings would be open INDOORS at 50% capacity.
