The Rebuilding of Beach Boulevard Is Gaining Steam
The rebuilding of Beach Boulevard is gaining steam with plans for dining, shopping, and neighborhood services at the long-empty corner of Beach and Lincoln Avenue, which is now coming to life with homes and retail as part of the City and business community's effort to revitalize the heart of west Anaheim.

Pending finalized leases, plans for the 39 Commons retail center call for an In-N-Out Burger, a drive-thru Starbucks, an additional drive-thru restaurant and other stores and services.

Anaheim's Plan for the Future of Angel Stadium of Anaheim

Elections 2022: What to Know for the June 7 primary
The statewide primary is a month away, but voting starts as soon as Monday when the Orange County Registrar of Voters will mail ballots to the county’s 1.8 million registered voters (and there’s still time for anyone eligible to register). Because of once-a-decade redistricting, boundaries of every political subdivision from congressional offices to school board seats have been redrawn, so voters should expect to see a few changes on their ballot. Here are a few things to know to be ready for the June 7 election.

  • Every registered voter should receive a mail ballot sometime this week. Sign up to track your ballot throughout the process at ocvote.gov.
  • Ballots can be returned via the U.S. Postal Service, deposited in any of 120 official drop boxes (find locations in the voter information guide that you probably already received or at ocvote.gov), or dropped off at any vote center once they open later this month.
  • In-person voting begins May 28 at select vote centers – Anaheim has three vote centers open the full 11 days – and the remainder of 181 centers around the county, including 14 in Anaheim, are open from June 4 through election day.
  • Community centers, public libraries, and city halls are common locations for vote centers; find a list in the voter guide or on the OC Registrar’s website.
  • Need translation services or help for voters with disabilities? Didn’t receive a ballot or got the wrong one? Any other questions or concerns? Call the Registrar’s office at 714-567-7600.
