Commercial Facade Improvement Plan

As part of the FY 2022-23 Anaheim budget, the City Council approved $500,000 to revitalize Anaheim's commercial corridors, encourage private investment and business, and enhance business aesthetics. The City Council has directed the Economic Development Department to implement the Commercial Façade Improvement Program to provide one-time grants to businesses for storefront enhancement and site improvements. Grants will be available in a 3:1 match, where the business must fund at least 25% of the façade improvement, with the City covering not more than 75%. This can be for cosmetic façade improvements up to $10,000 or structural façade improvements up to $100,000.
