Sponsorship sales and consultancy agency Premier Partnerships has been appointed to assist in evaluating and go-to-market commercial strategy for ocV!BE, the mixed-use community and live entertainment district that will surround Honda Center.

Premier Partnerships will assist in the go-to-market sales phase as OCV!be and seeks influential corporate partners for restaurants, retail, hotels, office towers, and affordable housing.
Registrar Of Voters, Neal Kelley, Releases Important Message On Ballot Security for November 3
Counties will mail ballots to voters in California no later than October 5‚ 2020 and voters will be able to cast ballots early‚ in-person at their county registrar’s office. Mail-in ballots will be sent to all registered voters in California, and all voting centers will implement necessary safety protections.

SafeDineOC Grants Raised to $5,000
SafeDineOC grants have been raised to $5,000 for eligible restaurants. Restaurant that have already received the initial $1,000 grant, may reapply for additional $4,000.

Nixon Library Donates Masks To The Community
The Anaheim Chamber was honored to have received 10,000 masks from the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Foundation. Masks were delivered to local hospitals for essential workers. We applaud the Foundation’s community efforts and dedication to our healthcare providers.

Financial Relief For Small Businesses
Senator Ling Ling Chang shared two approved bills that provide financial relief for small businesses. AB 1577 protects PPP loan recipients from potentially paying thousands of dollars in unexpected state income tax on their forgiven PPP. SB 1447 qualified small-business employers who hire full-time-equivalent employees between July 1 and Nov. 30 are eligible for a $1‚000 tax credit for each hired employee‚ to a maximum credit of $100‚000.
SB 934 Helps Nonprofits
The Governor's office approved SB 934, which helps non-profits save money‚ reduce paperwork‚ and makes state government more efficient. This measure eliminates the filing and return fees paid by non-profits to the California Franchise Tax Board (FTB).

The City of Anaheim has extended relief from Special Event Permit requirements to display flags, banners, and outdoor dining standards.

The State of California's Tenant‚ Homeowner and Small Landlord Relief and Stabilization Act of 2020 provides renters‚ homeowners‚ and small landlords with relief if coronavirus has impacted your ability to pay your rent or mortgage.
Governor Signs Statewide COVID-19 Tenant and Landlord Protection Legislation
The new law includes targeted protections for tenants to shield them from evictions due to COVID-19-related back rent through February 1, 2021. Foreclosure protection is available for homeowners and small landlords who have federally-backed mortgages through the federal CARES Act. Homeowners or small landlords who don’t have federally-backed loans can contact their loan servicers to request forbearance. In addition‚ these financial institutions may be able to reduce or delay your monthly payment.

Downtown Disney has begun offering limited indoor seating at its restaurants.

Restaurants at Downtown Disney will permit limited indoor dining, at 25 percent capacity, and increase outdoor patio-style seating.
Angels Baseball in the Community
The Angels Baseball Foundation partnering with the Anaheim Family YMCA purchased a week's worth of meals last week and fed approximately 4,500 residents in Anaheim. The Angels also distributed over 100 Junior Angels Kids Club backpacks to the children in attendance.
