Budget workshops are coming to a conclusion and Thursday night is YOUR night to be heard as it will be the Public Hearing and the first night of council deliberations. Public hearings can made in person at 330 Park Avenue during the meeting or they can be made by joining the meeting as a Zoom attendee, by registering: HERE


All budget meetings will stream live on YouTube and will be broadcasted on BATV.

Vehicle Mechanic Technician


This position has responsibility for the maintenance and overall condition of town and school vehicles, including CDL vehicles and heavy equipment, mini-buses, ambulance, police vehicles, fire trucks, etc. in a reliable and safe condition according to approved standards. Performs routine, specialized and preventive maintenance for all vehicle/equipment in the most cost effective manner.

Maintainer II


Under the direction of the Operations Manager – Physical Services, the Maintainer II has the responsibility of operating light and heavy trucks and equipment, including but not limited to snowplows, roadside mowers, forklift, tractors, lawn equipment, and CDL vehicles. Also requires operating hand tools, power tools, chainsaws and jackhammers.
