Tomorrow (Aug. 22) is the first day that residents can request an absentee ballot for the upcoming primary elections, which will be held on Tuesday, September 12. For more information on the upcoming primaries, including where to go to vote, you can visit www.bloomfieldct.gov/primaries2023.

Operation Fuel

Beginning Tuesday, August 1, 2023, Operation Fuel is administering an energy assistance program for clients who need aid with meeting their home energy needs (electricity, gas, and deliverable fuels). This program will be for households living up to 75% of state median income. The maximum grant amount will be up to $500 per household, one time per year.

Absentee Ballots Available Beginning Aug. 22

Registered voters may cast a vote using an absentee ballot if they are unable to appear in person to vote at their polling place on the day of an Election, Primary, or Referendum.
