Just off the corner of Hand Avenue and HWY 59 sits a charming and unique, local market, ready to serve North Baldwin, surrounding communities and visitors! Please help us welcome the NEW owners of the Twisted Lime, Brandy and Chris Lunsford! When you walk into the store, you are greeted with a big smile, a clean store, fresh produce, the wonderful smell of candied nuts and a sense that something is just different here.

They have had the business for about six months and have worked very hard to make it their own. They carry their own full line of jams, jellies, sauces, and dips, as well as frozen foods, Amish products, boiled peanuts, wreaths (that Brandy personally makes), antiques and collectibles and so much more. They are also an authorized dealer for Max Steel buildings, a line of portable buildings that include greenhouses, chicken coops, swings and much more.

They pride themselves on carrying locally grown produce when it is available, and the store can be found stocked with seasonal plants and trees. Whether it is a gallon of milk or Conecuh sausage, you can find it at the Twisted Lime. Brandy and Chris always listen to their customers to provide a nice variety of products and positive shopping experience!

It really is this charming, welcoming, down to earth feeling that help makes our area “Home”. Thank you, Brandy and Chris, for bringing this sense of an old-fashioned country store to our end of the county. Did we mention the 1925 antique car in the store? Head over and see it for yourself and snag a picture while you’re there!

… And stay tuned for some other exciting new things they are bringing to the store! Be sure to like the Twisted Lime Market on Facebook to stay up to date and stop by as soon as you have the chance!

NEWS RELEASE
CDC offers new COVID-19 Quarantine and Isolation
(Q&I) Calculator for the public

Cases, hospitalizations and deaths from COVID-19 have declined greatly in Alabama. However, it is unknown if the BA.2 subvariant or other emerging variants may escape the immune's systems response from either a previous COVID-19 infection or vaccine-induced protection. If so, mitigation measures such as masking and physical distancing will be again be needed.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recently announced a change to Community Levels from the previous Community Transmission to streamline public knowledge about which and when individuals should consider masking. Community levels for COVID-19 & more can be viewed at https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/science/community-levels.html.
