On February 19, both the House and Senate advanced their budget resolutions for Fiscal Year (FY) 2025. On February 21, the Senate passed a $340 billion budget resolution with a vote of 52-48. GAO Seeking People with Lived Experience for Congregate Care Survey


The U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO), an independent and nonpartisan congressional agency, has been tasked with conducting a study and producing a report on congregate care placements within the child welfare system. The GAO is seeking volunteers aged 18 to 25 who have lived in congregate care facilities, such as group homes or institutional settings, to participate in an anonymous survey.
