On August 3, the Administration for Children and Families (ACF), Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health (OASH), and Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation (ASPE) will host a convening titled, "Strengthening Partnerships for Healthy, Climate Resilient, and Thriving Communities." $58 million to Reduce Lead in Schools and Childcare Facilities Through Investing in America Agenda


U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Assistant Administrator for Water Radhika Fox and EPA New England Regional Administrator David W. Cash, along with U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren and U.S. Representative Katherine Clark, announced $58 million in grant funding to protect children from lead in drinking water at schools and childcare facilities across the country. This grant funding is provided to states, territories, and Tribes.

OPRE Requests Comments on Chafee Strengthening Outcomes for Transition to Adulthood Project Data Collection


The ACF, the Office of Planning, Research, and Evaluation (OPRE) is requesting Office of Management and Budget (OMB) approval for clearance to collect data on programs serving youth transitioning out of foster care as part of the Chafee Strengthening Outcomes for Transition to Adulthood Project. The purpose of these data collections will be to inform ACF programming. Comments are due August 25.
