State of the University

President Robin Farias-Eisner, MD, PhD, MBA, will present his State of the University address at noon Wednesday, Aug. 27 in HEC Lecture Hall 2, followed by the WesternU California Employee Gratitude BBQ from 12:45-3 p.m. in Ethan Allen Park. The barbecue, hosted by Dr. Farias-Eisner and Provost Paula Crone, DO '92, will feature music, food, games and prizes.

COMP and CPM news

Matt Wedel, PhD, of COMP and CPM, was an invited speaker at DinoCon 2025 at the University of Exeter in the United Kingdom (Aug. 16-17). He gave a public lecture titled, "The Sauropod Heresies: Why All Sauropods Looked More or Less the Same for 135 Million Years."
