60th Anniversary Celebration
Sunday Brunch Series

Sunday, January 12, 2020  at 9:00 am

Rabbi Stephen Karol will return to Sha’aray Shalom in January as a featured speaker in the 60th Anniversary Sunday Brunch Series.

Rabbi Karol will discuss his book, Finding Hope and Faith in the face of Death, during the event. Based on his rabbinical experiences helping congregants deal with the emotions that occur when a loved one dies, the book contains lessons relevant to the very real issues brought on by sorrow and regret. Karol also shares his understanding and teachings around the importance of community when we are mourners, as well as the emotional and spiritual power of prayer. His book aims to convey a sense of faith and hope that can positively affect the transition from mourning to once again living our lives.
