A Prayer to Commemorate International Holocaust Remembrance Day & The
75th Anniversary of the Liberation of Auschwitz
Bearing Witness

Every day that we are gifted
another moment of life,
we are offered an invitation
to awaken the spirit to
the grandeur and reality of love.

We are summoned
to bear witness to the beauty
and miracle of everyday living.

To bear witness
is the crucial step
toward becoming fully human.

BJBE has a strong tradition of the spoken word elevated by music. Join us for some of our most memorable High Holy Day sermon anthems to bring the power of the High Holy Days to a special Shabbat of song.

Our Cantors will be joined by members of our adult choir, T’filah Band, and musicians, all under the direction of Stephen Edwards.

Purim at BJBE
Mishloach Manot Ordering Extended until this Friday !!
We are now accepting orders for Misloach Manot. If you have not yet received an email with your personalized link, please check your SPAM folder.

Mishloach Manot, also called Purim baskets, are gifts of food and drink that are sent to family and friends on Purim. The mitzvah of Mishloach Manot comes from the Book of Esther and is a symbolic representation of the Purim feast while bringing together our community.

Sending a basket is a fantastic opportunity to let your friends, family, neighbors, teachers, and more know how much you appreciate them while supporting BJBE! Each family gifted a basket will receive a single Mishloach Manot with a card listing all of the families who contributed. Baskets will be delivered by volunteers to each family the week of March 1!

Do you want to get involved? Volunteer to pack baskets on Saturday, February 29 or help deliver baskets during the week of March 1. This is a great volunteer opportunity for families! Q uestions about Mishloach Manot? Contact Anne Robbin or Dani Glass in the BJBE office at 847-940-7575.
