This Week at BJBE
July 8, 2019
Early last week you should have received a white 8.5 x 11 packet from BJBE, with a personalized letter to you (inside of the booklet).  Please review these materials and call or email Anne  or Sally  at BJBE if you have any questions.

Then, please submit your form by August 5 by mail, email, or directly online!

Related: Do a Mitzvah for BJBE. Sign up to make outreach calls to fellow Congregants, checking in to make sure they have received the Shared Sacred Commitment packet, and encouraging them to call with questions and submit the form by August 5. These are stewardship calls; NOT FUNDRAISING calls.  Sign up here

July Tzedakah:
Luggage for Freedom's goal is to provide a sense of dignity to women who are staying at and transitioning out of domestic violence and homeless shelters, by giving them a suitcase packed with some personal and household items. Luggage for Freedom provides gently used luggage packed with new towels, new sheets, and new toiletries to women leaving local domestic violence shelters to start their lives anew. We also provide backpacks filled with books and stuffed animals for children. Luggage for Freedom has an incredible ability to directly impact women and children in a positive way, at a time when they are most vulnerable.
