In light of the isolation of some of our seniors, we are looking for volunteers to make phone calls and deliver medications and/or meals. In addition, some seniors don’t have tablets or pads with which to stay in touch with others, participate in Zoom meetings, etc. – please consider donating or loaning extra tablets if you happen to have any!

Rabbi Search Update:
We are pleased to advise that we are in discussions with Rabbi Tendler about her becoming our Senior Rabbi. Overall, we, Rabbi Tendler and Ross felt it was a very successful weekend. The Rabbi and Ross thanked us for a very inspiring and wonderful weekend and were grateful for the many ways we welcomed them.
Feedback from the congregation was overwhelmingly positive. As an example, over 90% of the respondents to the survey said Rabbi Tendler is a good fit for our congregation.
We anticipate it will take a few weeks for these discussions and for the Rabbi and Ross to assess the implications of a move to Richmond. We are assisting them with some of these issues and remain optimistic. We hope to follow up with positive news in the coming weeks.
