During Covid-19, our policy is for all people to WEAR MASKS and SOCIAL DISTANCE for the duration of any worship/fellowship where we are gathered in person!
Pastor Dave offers weekly devotions called "Church Where You Are" for individuals and families. If you are unable to be at worship on Sunday, or if you are simply looking for a weekly family devotional, "Church Where You Are" is located on our Bethel website each week.
Worship on Sunday, November 15
Join us THIS SUNDAY (November 15 @ 9:30am) for worship via our Facebook page, YouTube channel or via the LIVE WORSHIP link to the Bethel website.
"Adult Confirmation" Program begins during Advent
Pastor Dave will be leading an "Adult Confirmation" program for any adults who would like to "reaffirm" their faith in Jesus through an intentional study focusing on the Small Catechism. Using the "By Heart" curriculum from Augsburg Fortress, Pastor Dave will offer Zoom gatherings and "in person" gatherings to study and learn (or re-learn) more about our Lutheran catechism and heritage. This will be a worthwhile study for any adult who grew up OUTSIDE the Lutheran Church, but also for any of you who may have gone through Confirmation years ago and would love a refresher course.
Please RSVP to Pastor Dave if you feel a desire to participate

CCAP is still in need of volunteers! They're looking for a van driver as well as help to pick up dated merchandise at several stores in Winchester. The stores donate items to CCAP Monday through Saturday. It usually takes from 8:30 am until noon to go to 2 different Walmart stores, a Target and the Martin's grocery store on Route 7. A clean driver's record is important. They are looking for a driver and a helper most days. Pick up food items in the CCAP van, then return to CCAP to unload the items. Sounds simple, right? Call for details. Jim Taylor (703) 403-5264 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org .

JONES/JOYNER MUSIC FUND
The Jones/Joyner Music Scholarship Fund honors the outstanding ministries of two individuals: Larry Jones and Vernon Joyner. Both led Bethel's music ministry. The Jones/Joyner Music Scholarship Fund enables our music ministry to consistently provide quality music offerings in and outside of our regular worship gatherings.
Through the generosity of the congregation, this fund has brought us many talented musicians who have enhanced our worship music each Sunday.
Our current Jones/Joyner scholars are flutist Charlene Romano and bassist Alex Kimble.
As the holidays approach, your continued donations to this fund will ensure that we can provide special music for the season. Would you consider making a one-time or continued donation to support our music ministry?
Checks can be made payable to Bethel with "Jones/Joyner Fund" in the memo. Thank you for your continued support of music at Bethel
