UPCOMING WORSHIP SCHEDULE
Sunday, December 20 - Fourth Sunday in Advent Worship - 9:30am LIVE WORSHIP
Monday, December 21 - Northern Valley Conference "Blue Christmas" Worship - The churches of the Northern Valley Conference have come together to offer a "Blue Christmas" worship service. "This time of year, the holiday season and Christmas, can bring back memories of past pain and sorrow. It highlights and heightens new experiences of suffering. For some, this may be a time that has always been difficult. This may be the first Christmas without a loved family member who has recently died. This year, the losses and fears caused by the pandemic impact the Christmas season in many ways. These losses can make us feel alone in the midst of celebrating and joy. We need the space and time to acknowledge our sadness; we need to know that we are not alone. We need encouragement to live the days ahead of us. This service is designed to recognize and acknowledge these feelings, to give us comfort and support and to think
about how this holiday season could be different. This is a time when we can allow feelings of pain, loneliness, worry, sadness, experiences of dark memories, anxiety and fear to be lifted up in faith to The One who can help us bear the burdens and relieve our pain. We are hopeful that we all will find peace in this service and comfort in knowing that we are not alone." BLUE CHRISTMAS

Bethel's Global Christmas 2020
Giving to God's Children Around the World
Bethel's Global Mission Team has assembled a variety of gift opportunities for each of our Global Mission partners. We hope you will be inspired to honor family and/or friends with a gift that goes far beyond traditional giving and moves us closer to the true spirit of Christmas... of Christian love, and service to others. Of lifting up our brothers and sisters in Christ, even thousands of miles away. Whether the thought of a sleepy head with a full tummy in loving care at one of our partner orphanages, or perhaps a young woman at MaaSAE Girls Lutheran Secondary School in Tanzania receiving needed textbooks or lab supplies, or helping the children at Escuela Integrada overcome poverty through education, or maybe the gift of a brighter future, of surgery and "new" legs to run on - the opportunities are here! Visit the Global Missions page
for more information!
