Guest Pastor

This week Beulah welcomes guest pastor Rev Lee R. Scott. Rev. Scott is a PCUSA pastor serving in a validated ministry with the Coalition for Christian Outreach (CCO) as their Director of Staff Services. In his role he is responsible for the day-to-day human resources, leadership development, and pastoral care of the staff of the CCO. In addition to this call to the CCO, Lee serves as the Parish Associate at the Open Door Church. Lee and his family reside in Pittsburgh as well as maintain a small cattle operation in Butler. He is grateful for the opportunity to worship with Beulah this Sunday!
Condolences

Former Beulah member Helen Watson died on January 11. Our prayers for comfort and peace are extended to her husband Jack and daughters Claire, Susan, and Gretchen at this time of grief. Helen was 95 years old, she was a member from the early 1970s until 2007.

The church office will be closed on Monday, January 17 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. We will reopen for regular hours on Tuesday.
Annual Meeting

This year's Annual Meeting will be held after the 10 a.m. worship service on January 23 in the Sanctuary. We will be talking about what has happened in the life of the church in 2021 and look forward to what to expect in 2022. We hope to see you all there!
Small Group Sign Ups

It was previously announced that small groups would be forming this month to discuss Beulah's focus on Relationships. Here is the link to sign up for these groups! Small Group Sign Up!

Signing up online is greatly preferred, however a few paper copies will also be available after worship, or call the office to sign up. We hope to begin next week, so please respond as soon as you are able.
Discovery Hour News

Help Us Wrap Kids in God’s Love! Join us during Discovery Hour on January 16 in MGB Fellowship Hall for a multi-generational service project. We’ll be tying blankets to be given to children by our mission partner Presley Ridge. No special skills required!! Joint program of Prayer Shawl and Moms Group. All materials have been purchased. We will have 8 tables set up in MGB with a blanket on each table so we can work in groups of 4-5. One of the Prayer Shawl ladies or a member of the Moms group will be at each table to get everyone started…it’s really just tying knots. We are praying this is a time for intergenerational fun and fellowship with a bit of mission thrown in for good measure.

There will still be a 9 am Zoom call for young children.
