Last weekend, the Barons defeated Miller to win the VIC Championship. Yesterday's game was the fifth defeat for Miller by the Barons this season. CHARACTED ED TRIPS: The Blue Ridge School Character Education Program includes service-learning trips designed to encourage our students to learn the benefits of community service and to gain a greater understanding and empathy for those less fortunate. The trips this year are scheduled for April 22-25 for the freshmen, and April 23-24 for all other grades. For more on these required trips and packing lists for each, click here.

FOOD PANTRY: While most of the Blue Ridge School community leaves for Spring Break, the food pantry remains in operation and welcomes volunteers in the area to help on Saturday mornings from 9:30 to noon. The pantry also welcomes donations to help restock its shelves. Please consider bringing items back with your son when he returns to campus. Contact Tony Brown for more information,  tbrown@blueridgeschool.com.

PARENT WEEKEND: The Parent Association is soliciting items for the "Ties and Totes" sale - please donate any ties, handbags or luggage by the following designers for our spring fundraiser. Robin Cline, President of the PA, is looking for top tier ties and handbags with name brands such as Coach, Hermes, Cartier, Louis Vuitton, Bally, Michael Kors, Dooney & Bourke, Kate Spade, Chanel, Burberry, Ralph Lauren, Vineyard Vines, Gucci, etc. "I know people have items like this in their closets that they don't wear or use anymore," says Robin. The idea is to get parents to send these items back with their sons after spring break or mail them to the School to the attention of Kristie Jamrozek. This sale will be open to the public.
