September 10 - 14
BCS in the Rearview
September 19-21
It should come as no surprise that every Briarwood student will one day leave BCS. In fact, that is kind of the plan. It is our hope that every student that walks these halls not only receives a quality education from a Christian worldview, but that they are also equipped and prepared to leave these halls and make an impact on the world for the sake of the King and his Kingdom.
Therefore, for the High School Spiritual Emphasis Week 2018, we are bringing back several familiar faces. These people have walked where our students are walking, sat where our students are sitting, and faced many of the things that our students are facing. So as they share lessons from life in the rearview, we desire for our students be in encouraged to know that God is preparing them for what is to come, that no matter where he leads he will never leave them, and that he loves them immensely more than they know.

We will have chapel on each of these three days where our students and faculty will engage in worship through song, the teaching of the Word, and testimony from alumni. We will also meet in GAP groups each day and close the week with a worship event on Thursday evening.

We would love it if you would partner with us in praying for our students leading up to this big event. This is always an impactful time as our students are confronted with the God of the Gospel and called to a passionate pursuit of him.
Lower Campus Summer Reading
The Lower Campus Summer Reading Program was a huge success this year!

There were 350 students who participated that read a grand total of more than 500,000 pages!

There were 71 students who read over 5,000 pages!

We are so pleased with our students' hard work and diligence. It was a a joy to celebrate all of the students who participated in the Summer Reading Program.

We know that the Lord always wants our very best! In Colossians 4:17, the Lord reminds us to "Be sure to do the work the Lord gave you!"

We thank our Lower School PTF for their help with our Summer Reading Program.
Congratulations and Well Done!!!
