        Mazel Tov, Evan!

Evan Emuna Makeila Vitiello will be called to the Torah on June 16, 2018. This young lady has taken it upon herself to re-prioritize her life to follow the path of Judaism. With a rigorous schedule of 8th grade homework, dance and religious studies, her friends and family are proud, but not surprised, that she is a talented dancer, honor student and will soon become a Bat Mitzvah.

Evan's Hebrew name, Emuna, embodies who she is as a person, because she "believes" in herself and has "faith" in others.  She is a great friend and source of calm and confidence. Evan has learned a lot from the accomplishments of her older sisters, Melissa and Lindsey, and appreciates the kindness and humor of her brother, Nico.

n her thirteen years, Evan has seen two of her dear friends battle cancer, sadly her friend Rhys will remain 13 forever in our hearts. For Evan's Mitzvah project she is helping her friend and survivor, Ava Mae, raise money to help children with cancer through the Evan will be having bake sales, placing money jars and encouraging friends and family to help Ava in her quest to help children fighting cancer.

Evan's parents, Mike and Leslie could not be more proud of their daughter and would like to welcome the congregation to celebrate her Bat Mitzvah.
