WALKING FOR THE RELEASE OF THE HOSTAGES

HELD BY HAMAS

Michelle Sarna, who with her husband, Rabbi Yehuda Sarna, leads the NYU-Bronfman Center, has organized the students and local community in a walk around Washington Square Park and Union Square Park to help bring awareness to the plight of the hostages being held in Gaza and to show support for the people of Israel.

This Shabbat we meet at 2:30 PM in front of the Bronfman Center (7 East 10th Street) and carry posters as we walk around Washington Square Park, then Union Square Park, and finish with words and prayers.

The plan is for this to continue to be a weekly activity until the hostages are freed. Please join us. עם ישראל חי

SCENTS AND SENSITIVITY: As we dress up and accessorize for Shabbat and holidays, we know that many members use personal fragrances (perfume, cologne, etc.) to enhance their Shabbat experience. A number of congregants have shared that fragrances can be overwhelming or harmful to the health of others who may suffer from respiratory issues and allergies. Please consider reducing your use of fragrance use when you are in the synagogue. Thank you.
