2:30 PM

WALKING FOR THE RELEASE OF THE HOSTAGES HELD BY HAMAS - 547 Days in captivity.

Michelle Sarna, who with her husband, Rabbi Yehuda, leads the NYU-Bronfman Center, has organized the students and local community in a walk around Washington Square Park and Union Square Park to help bring awareness to the plight of the hostages being held in Gaza and to show support for the people of Israel. We coordinate with the local police who usually accompany us so as to avoid any hostile confrontations.

This Shabbat we meet at 2:30 PM in front of the Bronfman Center (7 East 10th Street) and carry posters as we walk around Washington Square Park, then Union Square Park, and finish with words and prayers.

The plan is for this to continue to be a weekly activity until all the hostages are freed. Please join us. עם ישראל חי
