| | WEEKLY WAYS TO ENGAGE YOUR BODY AND MIND | | Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese discipline of meditative movements practiced as a system of martial arts. Said to exercise every muscle in the body at once, Tai Chi is good for strength, balance, and your mind. Open to people of all ages, kids included. Suggested donation is $5.00. Led by our own John Rankin, who is a black belt in many forms of martial arts, the class meets on Wednesdays at 4 pm. Thursday, June 19th CUC Book Club
Please join us for the CUC book club on Thursday, June 19th, at 1:30 pm. We will be discussing Pigs in Heaven, by Barbara Kingsolver. This is a novel about a young mother who fights to keep custody of her adopted daughter in spite of the Indian Child Welfare Act of 1978, which states that no one can adopt a Cherokee child without tribal permission.

Registration is open for VBS for potty-trained Pre-K through incoming 5th graders!! This year, our VBS is going on a Road Trip, using stories from the Bible to show us the way to go! We will have Bible Stories, Crafts, Science, Snacks, Recreation, and Worship. June 16th -19th from 9:00 am -12:00 pm with a special VBS Sunday Service on June 22nd at 10:30 am.
Youth can reach out to Jeannie if they want to be a youth leader for VBS!

July 28th-31st: Completed K-12, along with adults, are invited to join us for our Arts Day Camp! We will learn and practice our art skills in music, stage design, building simple machines, and more! We will explore our creativity with different experts from our congregation. Register at:

Nourish Meals on Wheels' signature fundraising event is on Wednesday, June 18th at Town Hall Arts Center in downtown Littleton. This year's musical is On Your Feet , the story of Emilio & Gloria Estefan. Tickets are on sale for the event at www.nourishmealsonwheels.org/theaternight25.
In conjunction with this event, we here at CUC would like to help replenish their pantry shelves. From June 1st through June 15th please bring in 16 oz. jars of peanut butter and/or cans of chunky soup such as Campbell’s. We’re keeping it simple and your donations will go a long way in helping our clients stay Nourished. On the second Saturday of every month, two grocery bags of toiletries, pet food, paper products and food items are distributed to over 100 clients at no cost to them. Thank you, Thank You, THANK YOU for your kind and generous donations.
