MISSIONS

We will be doing the Angel Tree again this year for the Salvation Army. The Salvation Army gives us tags with a child’s or a Senior's first name and age and suggestions for a Christmas present. The tags are put on the “giving tree”. We can select a child or a Senior to donate to. We then bring presents unwrapped with the tag attached and put it under the tree. Some selected elves will then take the presents to our local Salvation Army. Return by Dec 11 so they can be wrapped and prepared.

The Animals are Coming! The Animals are Coming!

Columbine will again support Heifer International by offering alternative Christmas gifts to your family and friends. A Mission Committee member will be at the Welcome Desk between Services (9:30 am – 10:30 am & 11:30 am – 11:45 am) on December 8, 15, and 22. Gifts start at only $10 and range all the way to $1000. If you want to get a head start, their catalog is available at www.heifer.org . Catalogs and order forms will be available in the next couple of weeks. Just email if you are interested.
