Sharing the Saints
We had a great All Saints Celebration this past Sunday.

With photographs and handwritten bits of colored paper, we gathered up the names of all of those who have taught and believed in us, nurtured and fed us, blessed us and loved us.

We made such a beautiful piece of communal art that we decided to leave it up in the Nave for the next couple of weeks!

If you didn’t get a chance to add a name or two, you are in luck. We will continue to add names this coming week and next as we continue to give thanks for all those who have gone before us. Join us this Sunday as our eucharistic prayer says, “in that chorus of praise that rings through eternity.”

See you Sunday – and bring a friend!

Join us on the Monday nights of Advent for a potluck meal and discussion of the book "The Whole Language: The Power of Extravagant Tenderness."
We will gather in the parish house at 6 for a shared potluck meal and then spend some time with this challenging and inspirational book by Gregory Boyle.
The book is available from online booksellers and as an audiobook.
We hope you can make plans to be a part of this. All are very welcome.

Food Pantry
The B Street Pantry has moved to Stratmoor Hills Elementary, and we are newly committing to serving the Pantry, now known as the D2 Pantry.

John Wilhite will be the liaison. He met with Debra Mitguard this week to talk about what they will be needing.

Starting Sunday, November 20, we will begin collecting food each Sunday, which will be delivered to the Pantry on Tuesdays.
Right now, they are requesting non-perishable food items plus personal items.

There are supply lists available in the Narthex to take home.
Each Sunday, we will bring the food to the altar for blessing for the food, the people who will receive it, and the Pantry workers who distribute it.

This will be an ongoing ministry.

If you want to know more, please see John or Susan Garsoe.
