MD Class of 2028 White Coat Ceremony


The White Coat Ceremony for the MD Class of 2028 will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 5, on Talbot Green. The event will be livestreamed as in-person attendance is limited to the students and their invited guests due to the tent capacity. To view the livestream, click here.

Aug. 8 BUMC Network Upgrade


As part of our ongoing enhancements to the network, BUMC IT is performing an upgrade of one of the campus core routers on Thursday, Aug. 8, between 4-6:30 a.m. We do not expect any disruption to BU services or Internet access. W Building Construction Project Update


Week of August 4

Next week crews will continue building Air Handling Unit 2 (AHU-2), installing insulation on piping, and starting up AHU-2. Crews will also begin selective demolition of Air Handling Unit 1, balancing of exhaust air and water systems, and begin demolishing concrete pads in the penthouse. The impact to occupants may be higher than the previous week due to increased demolition activities. If you have questions, comments or concerns, please contact Dylan McIntosh.

Save the Date | Provost Workshop: Global Health Initiatives

Date: Monday, Oct. 28

Time: 3-5 p.m.

Location: Instructional Building (L), Hiebert Lounge


This workshop is designed to identify current BUMC global health initiatives to facilitate collaboration and collaborative grants among faculty working in the same locations around the world.

 

Faculty will be assigned to tables by continent and country to discuss initiatives and then the table will present briefly to the larger group. 

 

We then will have a project list by country with interest group contact information for ongoing discussions.
